On a personal note, I graduated from the College of William and Mary with an economics degree, and I also have an RICP designation. I enjoy volunteering and participating in local organizations, such as the Rotary Club of Newport News and the Woman's Club of Newport News. I support the CNU Holiday Happenings, the CNU Jazz for Justice event, the Fast before the Feast 5K for the Peninsula Foodbank, the Tee off for a Cure Golf Tournament for the Cancer Society, the Newport News Woman's Club Scholarships for Nursing, and the Newport News Police Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity. My hobbies include going to the YMCA, traveling, cooking, baking, and hiking. I am blessed with a wonderful family, including a son and daughter-in-law and two delightful grandchildren I cherish spending time with.
